Life Issue Series Lecture Notes	West Toronto Counselling Network The West Toronto Counselling Network (WTCN) is a network of independent professionals in private practice, serving the communities of West Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville, GTA, Ontario.  Our common mission is to contribute to the emotional, social and spiritual well-being of those we serve and to our community.
As professionals in the helping professions many of us provide: couple therapy, individual psychotherapy, marriage counselling, and family therapy. Then we have specialists  in: career counselling, energy psychology, and sex therapy, Our six active members include: Douglas Schmidt, Gwen Schauerte, Don Moncrieff, Joan Marsman, Margotte Kaczanowska, and William Cooke.  We are faithfully present to one another at our monthly meetings to support one and learn together as we strive towards excellence in professional service.

	Margotte Kaczanowska, M.A., S.T.S.R. , R.S.W. Psychotherapist, Bloor West Village, Toronto 416-769-6339  <>Email Margotte Margotte offers her 30 years psychotherapeutic experience to English and Polish speaking adults, adolescents and children. She provides assistance to individual persons, couples, families and groups with a wide spectrum of problems. Margotte believes that the therapeutic approach should be tailored individually as every person who consults with her is unique. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists. She is a registered Social Worker  with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Most workplace benefit plans cover her fees. He focuses on individual, couple and family therapy and specializes in dealing with personal problems resulting from trauma and abuse. 	Gwen Schauerte, M.Ed., Psychotherapist, Bloor and Christie area, Toronto. phone: (416) 526-0134   email:  gwen1mail@gmail.com Gwen provides marriage counselling, individual therapy, couple work and family counseling for those who are seeking healthier relationships, well-being, vitality and self knowledge.  As a marriage counsellor / individual therapist, Gwen has worked in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, self esteem, personal transition/life direction and creativity.  She has had an ongoing interest in body-mind connections and transformational approaches to therapy.  Gwen is a clinical member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychometrists (www.oaccpp.on.ca) and has had a marriage counselling practice since 1991.
